Hi. My Name is Kendra. I grew up in Fort Collins, CO. I moved to Chadron in August of 2017. I received my bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education from Colorado State University in 2010. I taught high school Ag for a year, and then moved to Imperial, NE where I found my love and passion for teaching preschool aged children in a daycare and Christian preschool setting. I am currently working towards my master’s degree in curriculum and instruction in early childhood special education at Chadron State College. I grew up in a non-denominational Christian home, where Jesus was the center of our family and home. I attended a youth group called Transformers where I learned my favorite verse in the Bible. Romans 12:1-2. “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” I look forward to working with the children here at Great Foundations, and building relationships with my students and their families.
